Searching the known 22,000 genes (By Baylor College of Medicine)

Only a small fraction of the human genome, about 1.5% of the genome, contains genes that encode proteins, which control various functions in the body. Much of what we know about genetic disorders are based on these genes, or what we collectively called the exome.
This wellness test using whole exome sequencing can analyze over 22,000 genes, and provide clinical reports that are based on clear medical evidence, including hereditary diseases, e.g. cardiovascular diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, cancers and reproductive related carrier status.

Multiple Interpretation
One exome supports clinical interpretation on multiple conditions. With exome sequencing data covering over 22,000 genes, patients can request to receive clinical interpretation on additional conditions not originally ordered by their physicians.

Comply With United States Clinical Regulatory & Patient Privacy Standards
Clinical interpretation provided by the UCLA Clinical Genomics Center and Baylor Genetics follows the current ACMG (American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics) guidelines. The UCLA Clinical Genomics Center and Baylor Genetics also issue physician reports signed-off by their board-certified medical directors.

Free Pharmacogenomic Test of 340+ drugs
The analysis is provided to the physician in the form of static and interactive reports that identifies which prescription drugs are — or aren’t — likely to work. It can predict how a patient’s DNA and current prescriptions may affect their response to medications.

• A friendly reminder if patients under 18 years old :

    (1) Accompanied by a parent / legal guardian
    Signed parent/guardian consent form, and proof of identity

    A signed consent form from parent/legal guardian and must be accompanied by an adult over 18.

    If neither parent is accompanying the youth, participants must carry a signed consent form from parent/legal guardian
• Health Checkup Package with 1 year validity. Registration must be completed within 1 years. Reservations are taken one month in advance. Invalid exceeds the period.

Report:

• Under normal circumstances, all medical reports will be ready around 7-10 working days (excluding Saturday, Sunday and public holiday). A delay in processing some requests due to the following reasons: 1. indicate the specific selective 2. Some items take more time for test

Remarks:

A. Customers can get one free call or face to face explanation. Otherwise, customers would be charged an additional fee of $350.
B. All medical records will be destroyed after 3 months. Please note an administration fee may be charged $150 for additional copies. We make no warranties regarding completeness of report copies.
C. If they choose courier report, then they do so at their own risk.
D. All tests are not for the purpose of medical diagnosis or treatment. If patients require a letter of referral from a doctor, we're entitled to charge $350 for this service.
