Primecare Sensory Assessment (1.5 hours)

1. Assessment includes:
   sensory abilities, visual and auditory, balancing and body responses, sitting posture, muscle endurance, physical coordination, posture control, movements, self-regulation, concentration, social and emotional development, self-control ability, self-organising ability, etc.
2. Evaluation tools:
   a) Through different sensory integration activities, clinical observations by our therapist;
   b) Through local/international standardised evaluation tools (e.g., SPSRC, SIPT), our therapists will share evaluation analysis according to the child's age range (norm).
3. The child will be assessed by a registered occupational therapist (70 minutes); Analysis of the preliminary assessment results and home/therapeutic training recommendations will be shared with the parents after the assessment (Interview - 20 minutes).
4. Written report with key messages (will be mailed to the ordered address within 3-4 weeks).

If your child has the following situations, parents can consider to arrange a sensory assessment for them:

1. Instable resting time/ Poor quality of sleep/ easy to be wake up.
2. Moody, often loses temper towards trivial matters.
3. Low ability in self-control, often over react.
4. Overly nervous/flinch/crying/have self-destructive behavior/revolt strongly under new environment/challenge.
5. Feeling anxious/cover ears with their hands/complain, agitated when responding to sudden sound.
6. Enjoy auditory/visual stimulation.
7. Do not pay attention/ Cannot witness any situations on street, such as any obstacles/water tassels.
8. Deliberately reach out to touch others/ their clothes/ their belongings to pursuit the excitement they need.
9. Reject any daily self-care activities such as grooming/brushing teeth/washing hair/hair cutting/nails trimming etc.
10. Over anxious/exciting when playing at the playground.
