Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine
Japanese encephalitis is a mosquito-borne disease caused by the Japanese encephalitis virus.
Most infections occur without any apparent symptoms or with mild symptoms such as fever and headache. More severe infection is characterised by rapid onset of headache, high fever, neck stiffness, impaired mental state, coma, tremors, convulsions (especially in children) and paralysis.
The vaccination is handled by registered nurse
This transaction is subject to the assessment by nurse for the suitability of vaccine injection. Patients will have to pay a consultation fee of $300 if considered not suitable for the vaccine injection upon consultation. The remaining balance will be refunded.
