How many pollutants can a faucet filter reduce?
PUR faucet water filters are NSF certified to reduce 72 pollutants, including sediment, chlorine (taste and odor) and its by-products.

The water filter warning light is not functioning properly.
The water filter indicator light is automatically activated when the filter element is first installed. If the indicator light does not start, we recommend that you open the back cover of the water filter, press and hold the button inside the body for a few seconds, and the indicator light will flash. Reinstall the filter element. If the beacon still cannot be activated, please contact us.

Does this faucet filter fit all faucets?
PUR faucet filters are suitable for most faucets, but are not suitable for portable faucets and stretch faucets.

How can I tell when the water filter needs to be replaced?
It is recommended to replace the filter element approximately every 100 gallons (378 liters) of water filtered or every three months, whichever is earlier, depending on the water quality. If your water filter is equipped with an LED indicator, the indicator will change from green to yellow or red when it needs to be replaced. The indicator light will only flash when in use. A green indicator light indicates normal operation of the water filter, yellow indicates that the filter element is almost in need of replacement, and red indicates that the filter element needs to be replaced immediately.

Can a filter filter filter hot water?
Do not filter hot water above 100°F/38°C as this may damage the filter element.

Does the filter element need to be rinsed before use?
Yes. When used for the first time, the water filter needs to let the water flow for 5 minutes in filter mode.

Is the faucet water filter replacement element difficult to install?
Replacing the filter element is simple. You just unscrew the top cap, remove the old filter and replace with the new one, then screw the top cap on. Also, remember to let the water run for 5 minutes before using.
