Cartridges are certified to NSF/ANSI standards. 42 & 53. So this filter effectively removes 99.9% of protozoan cysts, cryptosporidium and giardia, sediment, chlorine, bad taste and odor. Lead, scale, benzene, dichlorobenzene, and toxaphene.

The PU-02 filter can be replaced with the following items:
