Herpes Zoster Vaccine (SHINGRIX) (1 Dose)

• Shingles, also known as herpes zoster, is a painful skin rash caused by reactivation of the varicella zoster virus (the same virus that causes chickenpox). Anybody has had chickenpox, the virus that causes shingles is already inside your body. It can reactivate at any time, and your risk increases as your immune system naturally declines with age.
• Shingles may happen to people who have had chickenpox before, even if you are in good health
• Shingrix is the ONLY shingles vaccine demonstrating over 90% efficacy in clinical trials. It provides strong protection against shingles and neuralgia, the most common complications of shingles.
• CDC recommended that if any individuals who have had Shingles or received Zoster Vaccine Live before, should receive Shingrix recombinant vaccine to protect against Shingles
