1. Scope of Application

This package is only applicable for services provided at Actview Endoscopy Hospital (Address: Rear Block, Zhongjian Building, No. 6, Keji South 12th Road, Yuehai Subdistrict, Nanshan District, Shenzhen) and cannot be transferred or used at other institutions.

2. Eligible Participants

For individuals aged 18 and above (Older participants must undergo a doctor’s assessment to determine suitability for this examination).

3. Appointment and Assessment Process

After purchase, Actview Endoscopy Hospital will send an online consultation form via WhatsApp or email. Please complete it truthfully. This questionnaire is used for preliminary assessment of suitability for the examination. Providing false information may invalidate the assessment.

Final suitability will be determined based on ECG and blood test results conducted at the hospital, with a comprehensive evaluation by the doctor.

4. Refund and Change Policy

Once the package has been initiated (after completing blood and ECG tests at the hospital), unused services or items cannot be refunded, converted to cash, or exchanged for other services due to personal reasons.

If the hospital determines the patient is unsuitable for the examination, HKD 1100 will be deducted from the paid amount (to cover preliminary assessment and medical service costs), and the remaining balance will be refunded. health.ESDlife and Actview Endoscopy Hospital reserve the right of final interpretation.

5. Additional Fees

The final price of the endoscopy will be determined based on the results of the examination. The package price only covers the basic examination fee.
If treatment, biopsy, or pathological testing is required during the procedure, the doctor will proceed based on medical necessity. These procedures and their associated costs are not included in the package. For example, if a biopsy or polyp treatment is performed in the stomach, an additional fee of RMB 3,000 will be charged (with no further charges beyond this).

Payment methods for additional fees:
Visa, Mastercard, JCB, debit cards, Alipay, WeChat Pay, AlipayHK, and WeChatHK are accepted (settled based on the exchange rate of the day). If paying by cash, only RMB is accepted.

For insurance form completion, please consult hospital staff. A service fee will be charged accordingly.

6. Special Notes

Due to individual differences, if large or complex lesions are found, the doctor may not treat them during the examination but will provide detailed explanations in the report and recommend follow-up treatment plans.

The package does not include therapeutic medication costs; any required medication must be purchased separately. All payments at Actview Endoscopy Hospital are settled in RMB. Any discounts or promotions are platform-based.

7. Pre-Examination Instructions

Our hospital will provide detailed guidance online or in person based on your specific condition.

8. Examination Process

Complete the pre-examination questionnaire and understand related risks.
Endoscopy and anesthesia doctors will assess suitability for the procedure.
Change into dedicated examination attire.
After intravenous anesthesia, the endoscope will be inserted through the mouth to examine the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum, and perform treatment if necessary.
The entire process takes 15–20 minutes.
After full recovery in the observation room, the doctor will explain the report, provide medication guidance, and outline precautions.
If biopsy or polyp treatment occurs, settle related fees and confirm pathology report delivery method (electronic or in-person appointment).
Enjoy a nutritional meal as post-examination energy replenishment.
Once all questions are addressed, you may leave the hospital.

9. Post-Examination Instructions

Due to individual differences, hospital staff will provide detailed guidance after the examination for your reassurance.

10. Contraindications

Patients assessed by gastroenterologists as unable to tolerate gastroscopy (e.g., during the acute phase of cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease).
Patients assessed by anesthesiologists as having extremely high anesthesia risk.

After receiving the order confirmation email from health.ESDlife, Actview Endoscopy Hospital will contact you via WhatsApp or email within 1–2 working days during office hours. You may also contact the hospital at least one working day in advance to schedule your appointment.

Upon arrival, hospital staff will verify your name, date of birth, mobile number, and the order confirmation email from health.ESDlife.

Rescheduling Policy:
If you need to reschedule, please contact the hospital at least 2 working days in advance using the contact details above.

Validity Period:
The endoscopy package is valid for 3 months from the date of payment confirmation. The examination must be completed within this period; otherwise, the package will be void.

Language Support:
If the attending doctor does not speak Cantonese, Actview Endoscopy Hospital can arrange medical staff to assist with translation or communicate in English.

Language Priority:
In case of discrepancies between the Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese versions of the merchant or check-up plan pages, the Traditional Chinese version shall prevail.

II. Endoscopy Report Collection and Explanation

On the day of your endoscopy, you may choose the language of your report (Traditional Chinese or Simplified Chinese).

Once the procedure is complete and you are fully awake, the endoscopy doctor will explain the report and hand it to you.

If a pathology examination is required:

The pathology report will be provided within 5 working days.
You will confirm the delivery method on the day of the examination (email or in-person follow-up appointment).

Pathology Report Delivery Options:

Email: The hospital will send the report to your provided email address.
Postal Mail: The report can be mailed to your designated address. Postage is cash-on-delivery (available for Hong Kong and Macau).

Report Explanation Options:

Phone Consultation: The hospital will contact you one day in advance to confirm the time. The doctor will call you at the scheduled time.
In-Person Consultation: The hospital will contact you one day in advance to confirm your visit time. You will meet the doctor at the hospital for a face-to-face explanation.
