Medical examination process:

• After purchasing, bring your ID to the hospital for a physical examination on the scheduled date.

• Follow the instructions of the on-site staff to undergo the physical examination.

Medical Examination Instructions:

• Fasting should begin after 8 PM the day before the physical examination. Avoid strenuous exercise, high-protein, high-purine, and high-salt foods, as well as alcohol, and maintain an empty stomach.

• Patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease can take medication when necessary, and it is recommended to take the medication with a small amount of boiled water.

• Precautions: Women who are planning to conceive or are already pregnant should not undergo radiation examinations (including CT scans, X-rays, chest X-rays, MRI, and breath tests).

• Married women can have a gynecological examination 3 days after their menstrual period ends.

• If a breath test is required, fasting for 4 hours and abstaining from water for 2 hours are necessary. If you have taken anti-inflammatory or stomach-protecting medications within the past month, this test should be postponed.

• Please wear casual clothes on the day of the examination. Ladies are advised to wear trousers. Do not wear underwear with metal parts or carry valuable jewelry.

• After the physical examination, please submit the examination form to the front desk to check for any omissions. If any items are omitted, please confirm with the staff on site and sign them in time, otherwise the report may not be issued in a timely manner.

I. Instructions for scheduling a physical examination

Customers can select the date and time of their health checkup when purchasing the package. If customers do not select a date and time when purchasing the package, they must contact Shenzhen Luohu District Maternal and Child Health Hospital to make an appointment (Tel: +86 0755-2551 2370). Upon arrival, staff at Shenzhen Luohu District Maternal and Child Health Hospital will verify the customer's name, date of birth, mobile phone number, and the email address confirming the successful order from health.ESDlife to verify the customer's identity. For order rescheduling, please contact Shenzhen Luohu District Maternal and Child Health Hospital at least one business day in advance (Tel: +86 0755-2551 2370). The health checkup plan is valid for 3 months. Customers must undergo the relevant examination within 3 months (starting from the date of payment confirmation); otherwise, it will be invalid. During the health checkup, if the doctor does not speak Cantonese, Shenzhen Luohu District Maternal and Child Health Hospital can arrange medical staff to accompany the customer and provide translation services. If there are any discrepancies or inconsistencies between the Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and English versions of the merchant page and the health checkup plan page, the Traditional Chinese version shall prevail.

II. Report Collection and Explanation

The medical examination report is in Simplified Chinese. The report will be completed within 5-7 business days after the examination. Clients can choose to view the report through the following methods: For an electronic report, please provide your email address to the hospital staff or call the Luohu District Maternal and Child Health Hospital Medical Examination Clinic at +86 0755-2551 2370; For a mailing address, the Shenzhen Luohu District Maternal and Child Health Hospital will mail the report after completion, with postage payable upon delivery (delivery to Hong Kong and Macau is available); For collection at the Medical Examination Clinic after completion. A paper copy of the medical examination report is provided free of charge. After the report is completed, clients can schedule a doctor's explanation of the report. Clients can choose from the following channels: Telephone explanation: Please contact the doctor at the Medical Examination Clinic (contact number: +86 0755-2551 2370). In-person explanation: Clients can come to the Medical Examination Center during working hours for a face-to-face explanation by the doctor.
