General Precautions
- Three days before the examination: A light diet is recommended, avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise.
- No food intake after 8 PM the night before the examination.
- On the morning of the examination: Please fast (no food or water), wear loose and comfortable clothing, and avoid wearing underwear with metal clasps or jewelry.
- Note: Please bring your ID to complete the examination procedures so that a health record can be established. After all examinations are completed, please return the examination guidance form to the front desk.
Special precautions for women
- Women who are planning to conceive or are pregnant should inform the medical examination department and staff in advance to avoid undergoing radiographic examinations such as DR, CT scans, dual-energy bone mineral density tests, mammography, and C14 tests.
- Women should come for their physical examination 5 days after their menstrual period ends. During menstruation, it is best to avoid gynecological examinations, urine tests, stool tests, and gynecological ultrasound. We can arrange another date for your examination.
- Women should refrain from sexual intercourse, vaginal douching, or using vaginal suppositories the day before undergoing a Pap smear, TCT, or HPV test.
- Unmarried women and women who have never had sexual intercourse should not undergo gynecological examinations, including gynecological intracavitary ultrasound.
Precautions for special populations
- Patients with hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, asthma, or other chronic diseases are advised to bring their usual medications and take them after completing the fasting test.
Precautions for MRI examination
- Patients with pacemakers or claustrophobia should not undergo MRI scans; for implanted metal devices such as steel nails, plates, dentures, and cardiac stents, the material must be identified before a diagnosis can be made.
I. Notes for Health Check Appointment
- After receiving the email confirming successful purchase from health.ESDlife, The Medical Center will contact the customer to schedule the time and location for the health check within 1-2 working days during office hours. Customers can also make an appointment by contacting The Medical Center at least 1 working day in advance (Contact phone Number:+86 400-920-8393)
- Upon arrival, the staff of The Medical Center will verify the customer's name, date of birth, mobile number,Nationality and the email confirming successful purchase from health.ESDlife.
- If the customer wants to reschedule the order, please contact The Medical Center at least 1 working day in advance (Contact phone Number: +86 400-920-8393).
- The validity period of the health check packages is 3 months. Customers must undergo the relevant checkup within 3 months from the date of confirmed payment. After expiration, it will be considered void.
- During the health check, if customers encounter a doctor who does not speak Cantonese, The Medical Center can arrange for medical staff to accompany and provide translation services.
- If there are any discrepancies or inconsistencies among the Simplified Chinese, and English versions of the merchant page and the health check package pages, the Simplified Chinese version shall prevail.
II. Retrieval and Explanation of Report
- Customers can confirm the language of the report on the day of the health check (choices include Simplified Chinese, or English【English Translation Service Fee,Up to 10 pages: 500RMB/document;Each additional page (beyond 10):50RMB/page】).
- The health report will be completed within 10 working days after the health check. Customers can choose the following methods to view the report:
1. After the report is completed, The Medical Center will send a reminder message to the customer's WeChat Group. The customer can view the report as instructed.
2. Email: Provide an email address, and The Medical Center will send the report to the customer's email upon completion.
3. Mail: Provide a mailing address, and The Medical Center will mail the report with postage collect (available for delivery to Hong Kong and Macau). - After the report is completed, customers can schedule an appointment with a doctor to explain the report. The following channels are available:
1. Telephone explanation: Need to make an appointment at least 1 working day in advance (Contact phone Number:400-920-8393). The doctor will contact the customer proactively at the scheduled time.
2. Face-to-face explanation: Need to make an appointment at least 1 working day in advance (Contact phone Number: 400-920-8393; WeChat: /). The customer should go to The Medical Center at the appointed time to listen to the doctor's face-to-face explanation. Available location for face-to-face consultation:
