This package combines a general physical assessment, comprehensive blood and urine tests, electrocardiogram, X-ray, CT, MRI, multi-site ultrasound, and painless gastroscopy and colonoscopy to help you understand your physical condition and related disease risks from different perspectives.


Preparation before physical examination

  1. Two days before the examination, maintain a light diet. You can eat porridge, rice noodles, and noodles, but avoid vegetables and fruits.
  2. Please follow the hospital's instructions regarding fasting requirements for blood tests, abdominal ultrasounds, and gastrointestinal endoscopy.
  3. If you are currently taking clotting/thinning medications, you must consult your doctor first; you can only stop taking the medication for 7 days as instructed by your doctor, and you must not stop taking the medication on your own.

Inspection schedule for the day

  1. Arrive at the hospital at 2:30 PM on the day of your appointment to register and receive your prescription; in the afternoon, complete any examinations that do not require fasting.
  2. The hospital arranged for me to stay in a VIP suite for one night and provided dinner; the next morning, I took laxatives as instructed by the hospital to cleanse my intestines.
  3. After completing the gastroscopy and colonoscopy in the morning, I completed the remaining physical examination items; after the doctor confirmed and explained the report, I left the hospital around noon.

Reporting Arrangements

The doctor will explain the report (by phone or in person).

Precautions

  1. Whether someone is suitable for endoscopy and anesthesia must be assessed by a gastroenterologist and anesthesiologist; if there is an acute cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease or anesthesia risk, the hospital may not arrange the examination.
  2. Please confirm your anticoagulant/thinning medication schedule with your doctor before the examination, and do not stop taking the medication on your own. If the examination is deemed unsuitable and a refund is requested, HKD1,200 will be deducted from the outpatient fee and any related expenses already incurred, and the remaining balance will be refunded.
  3. Biopsy or polyp removal within 5mm is included; biopsy or polyp removal exceeding 5mm is RMB 2,000 per procedure, gastroscopy EMR is RMB 6,000, colonoscopy EMR is RMB 8,000, and gastroscopy + colonoscopy EMR is RMB 10,000. Other complex procedures will be charged according to actual costs.

I. Instructions for scheduling a physical examination

  • After receiving the order confirmation email from health.ESDlife, the Zhuhai Chancheng Hospital International Medical Center will contact the customer within 1-2 business days during office hours to schedule a physical examination. Customers may also contact the International Medical Center at least one business day in advance to schedule an appointment (Tel: +86 0756 6890616 / +86 13823007311; WeChat: ZHCCYY123321).
  • Once the client arrives at the site, staff at the International Medical Center will verify the client's name, date of birth, mobile phone number, and the email address confirming the successful order from health.ESDlife online shopping platform.
  • If you need to reschedule your order, please contact the International Medical Center at least one business day in advance (Tel: +86 0756 6890616 / +86 13823007311; WeChat: ZHCCYY123321).
  • The physical examination plan is valid for 3 months. Customers must undergo the relevant examination within 3 months (starting from the date of payment confirmation). Otherwise, it will be invalid.
  • If a doctor does not speak Cantonese during a medical examination, the International Medical Center can arrange for medical staff to accompany the patient and provide translation services.
  • If there are any discrepancies or inconsistencies between the Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and English versions of the merchant page and the health checkup plan page, the Traditional Chinese version shall prevail.

II. Obtaining and Explaining the Medical Examination Report

  • The medical examination report is in Simplified Chinese.
  • The medical examination report will be completed within 10 working days after the examination. Clients can choose the following methods to view the report:
    1. Provide your email address; the medical center will send the report to your email address after completion.
    2. Provide your mailing address; the medical center will mail the report after completion, with postage to be paid upon delivery (delivery to Hong Kong and Macau is available).
  • After the physical examination, the doctor will explain some of the issued reports on-site. Once the complete report is available, you can schedule a doctor's explanation. Clients can choose from the following methods:
    1. WeChat/Phone/Phone Explanation: Add customer service on WeChat. Appointments must be made at least one business day in advance (Tel: +86 0756 6890616/+86 13823007311; WeChat: ZHCCYY123321). The doctor will contact you at the scheduled time.
    2. In-Person Explanation: Appointments must be made at least three business days in advance (Tel: +86 0756 6890616/+86 13823007311; WeChat: ZHCCYY123321). Clients will attend the medical center at the scheduled time for an in-person explanation by the doctor.
