The current free vaccination program of Maternal and Child Health Centre does not provide vaccination for preventing some high-risk fatal diseases, including rotavirus, Haemophilus influenza type b (Hib) (may cause meningitis), hepatitis A and meningococcal vaccine . Parents do not need to worry now as we aim to provide the most comprehensive protection to infants with the least dose of vaccination.

Healthy vision
Hong Kong is one of the most prevalent regions with myopia in the world. Children with myopia are far more common than those with astigmatism or hyperopia. Children's visual development completes at about the age of eight. If vision is abnormal during this development period and cannot be corrected, visual development may be impaired.
