A small, precision light guide targets the upper and lower meibomian glands, with adjustable modes and parameters for personalized therapy. OPT Therapy Dry Eye Treatment Precautions
- Before Treatment: Avoid sun exposure or artificial tanning treatments for at least one month prior. On the day of the procedure, do not wear makeup and keep your face clean. Contact lenses should be removed beforehand. Inform your doctor if you are taking any photosensitizing medications (such as certain antibiotics or isotretinoin), or if you have photosensitive conditions like lupus or are pregnant.
- During Treatment: You will need to wear protective goggles or eye shields and keep your eyes closed throughout the procedure. A warm sensation or mild tingling is normal during treatment. If you experience significant pain or unusual burning, inform the doctor immediately.
- After Treatment Care: Within 24 hours after treatment, avoid hot water on the face, saunas, intense exercise, and eye warm compresses. Strict sun protection is required for one week, including wearing sunglasses or using an umbrella, and only gentle skincare products should be used. You may also need meibomian gland expression or artificial tears as advised.
Contraindications (Require Prior Medical Assessment): This treatment may not be suitable for individuals who are pregnant, have active skin infections in the treatment area, severe photosensitive conditions, recent use of photosensitizing medications within one month, or those with pacemakers, depending on the device type and medical condition.
Treatment Course & Effectiveness: A typical treatment course consists of three to four sessions spaced two to three weeks apart. Results are not immediate, so it is important to complete the full course as prescribed and maintain proper eye care and hygiene.
Eye Care Recommendations: Reduce screen time to minimize eye strain. After treatment, continue using prescribed eye drops as instructed, typically starting two hours later, and attend follow-up appointments as advised by your doctor.

- This package is valid for 1 month from the date of payment confirmation. Customers must complete the check-up within the validity period; otherwise, it will be considered expired.
- If Cantonese consultation services are required, please inform the customer service center at least 2 working days in advance so that an interpreter can be arranged (this service is free of charge).
II. Medical Examination Report Collection and Explanation

- On-site Report Collection: After the examination, you may collect most of your test reports on-site, along with a preliminary interpretation from the doctor.
III. Other Terms and Conditions
- The package is only applicable to first-time customers visiting Aier Eye Hospital (Shenzhen). All services included in the package are for one-time use only and cannot be redeemed in multiple visits.
- The package does not include costs for follow-up treatments, medications, or additional examinations.
- This package cannot be redeemed for cash, cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions, and is non-transferable and non-refundable once confirmed.
- In the case of special medical conditions (e.g., if further specialist examinations or treatments are required), the hospital reserves the right to charge additional fees.
